Budget Information

Owners of all single-family residences and townhouses are members of the Newington Forest Community Association, Inc. and, therefore, will pay quarterly dues on January 1, April 1, July 1, and October 1 of each year. The 2022 Quarterly Assessment rate for townhomes is $248.95 and for single-family homes is $154.55.

The 2023 Budget has been approved by the Board of Directors. The 2023 Budget Article written by the Board Treasurer may be viewed HERE. The 2023 quarterly assessment for each townhome is $273.40 and for each single-family home is $186.75.

Services included in this assessment are:

  • Trash removal twice per week;
  • Grounds maintenance;
  • Tennis and basketball courts;
  • Swimming pool;
  • Hiking/bike paths;
  • Playgrounds;
  • Townhouse snow removal;
  • Townhouse street repair and maintenance; and
  • Administrative costs and liability insurance for common areas.

The Finance Committee meets each year to determine the annual budget for consideration by the Board of Directors. If You are interested in serving on the Finance Committee, please email Operations@NewingtonForest.org. The Committee typically meets twice a month beginning in June until a draft budget is turned over to the Board for discussion and decision in October.

The Association is required by law to conduct a Reserve Study every 5 years to ensure adequate funding is set aside for the maintenance of common elements in the community.
