Parking Rules and Regulations

Do you own a commercial vehicle? Commercial vehicles (as defined by the Fairfax County Department of Code Compliance) are not permitted to be parked overnight within the community without written approval from the Association.

Do you own a recreational trailer (boat, jet ski, etc.)? You must apply to the Architectural Review Committee to park your recreational trailer on your property during the recreational season (April 1 – December 1). All other times during the year you must relocate your recreational trailer off Association Property. A limited number of spaces are available at the Community Association parking lot for parking of such trailers during the off-season. These spaces are available on a first-come, first-serve basis beginning after Labor day.

Complete rules and regulations regarding parking within the community (including single family and town house lots) can be found by reading Policy Resolution Vehicular Parking on Association Property

County wide parking restrictions can be found HERE. Newington Forest is within a CPD (Community Parking District). Where that acronym is referenced on the county sheet, those rules are strictly enforced. This link also provides necessary phone numbers to contact the appropriate authorities for enforcement.
